Spencer is an entrepreneur and investor in internet technology, media and consumer products. He is a founder and partner, home of the world’s finest single estate, small batch chocolate bars. Prior to this he founded and was CEO of Artfinder, COO of (which he helped sell to CBS for $280m) and was General Manager of Technology Products for Amazon in Europe. Before moving into high tech, Spencer set up Hasbro’s operations in Japan and was also Assistant Factory Manager for Hasbro Thailand where he made Cabbage Patch Dolls and My Little Pony.

Currently Spencer also serves as a board / advisory board member for a number of companies including Linked-In, Yoyo-games, Melody VR, Jingle Punks, Makie-Doll, Lux Fix and The Pigeonhole. Outside of these commercial interests he is a Trustee of the Foundling Museum and is on the international advisory board of Creative Commons.

Spencer is married with one daughter, and lives in London. He studied History at Magdalen College, Oxford (1983-6) and, courtesy of the EU, attended the ETP in Tokyo (1991-2) where he learned to speak Japanese.
